We love hand-to-hands and incorporate them into our daily practice. Only two connection points, our hands, to connect our bodies and breaths. In these moments of stillness, we can quiet our minds and allow ourselves to become fully present together 🙏 – ———— Want to learn how to handstand on someone else's hands? Or support someone doing a handstand on yours? We're super excited to bring another hand-to-hand (2.0) series in Dallas for 3 weeks, starting next Monday Feb 6th @theyogamovementdallas ! 🙌 Refine your handstand lines and technique, create shapes upside-down, and find your connection points with us ❤ – ———— @miz.liz in a 7 hand-to-hand 📸 @deandreyoga 🍉👖 @flexilexi_fitness

Tonight after teaching a packed and amazing class our jam time turned quickly into Thai massage time 😂 and one thing that is very overworked/tight for bases (and yogis – think 100 chaturangas 😅) is the chest. It's easy to stretch by yourself but with a partner you can get so much deeper and we find it easier to do active and passive release. The person who is stretching can also press their knees into the back which helps with alignment ❤ Try it out and let us know what you think! Recovery is just as important as training 🙏🏻 . . . #healthybody #fitstagram #yogavideo #fitnessvideo #onebreathatatime #yogastrong #instayogi #dailypractice #yogilife #dance #gethealthy #workout #beachbody #instafit #beginneryoga #dowhatyoulove #peaceloveyoga #art #magic #magical #instadfw #dallas #Calisthenics #fitnessgear #sexyyoga #crazysexyyoga #vegans #mandala #partnerstretch #practicepracticepractice

Playing around with legs in handstands 🙃 . Recently, @cassondralee07 and I have been looking at different leg variations to practice on canes (and eventually make a routine out of them!) There's so many!! And they are great drills to isolate body parts and keep a strong foundation while parts are moving. Here's to practicing on Max's hands because I think they're better (and softer) than canes 😝 What handstand legs do you guys like or do? ❤ . . @miz.liz in @flexilexi_fitness leotard 👗 #partneryoga #handstands #couplesyoga #leotard #mandala #healthybody #fitstagram #yogavideo #fitnessvideo #onebreathatatime #yogastrong #instayogi #dailypractice #yogilife #gethealthy #workout #beachbody #instafit #circus #dowhatyoulove #peaceloveyoga #yogalover #vegans #sexyyoga #acrobat #crazysexyyoga #whatveganslooklike #goals #raiseyourvibration #boyfriend

We were asked an interesting question yesterday that definitely deserves a thorough answer: "I have an acro and regular yoga parter that I really, really like. He likes me too, and we both find each other attractive. Nothing has happened, yet, because we are in the same yoga teacher training and are worried about what would happen if we tried dating and it didn't work. How did you and max get past this, since you started out friends too?" . . Liz and I started out as friends doing yoga. Eventually I asked Liz to be my acroyoga partner. We trained everyday, shared everything with each other, and eventually became best friends. I knew all the darkest parts of her, held space for her, and she did all the same for me. When we first met, we were not sexually attracted to each other, no sparks. Over time, we developed feeling for each other but made 100% sure it was love, not lust. While delving deeper into each other's lightest & darkest parts while holding space without judgment, we grew into a genuine desire to help each other and lifted each other higher every day. When we realized how perfect we were for each other, and that this was not a passing trend, we decided to take our relationship to the next level. Love, not lust, is the answer. Remove the sexual – would you love that person if they were sick? Injured? Would you sacrifice for them? Only you can know if your intentions are genuine. Communicate. Trust. And ultimately spread light ❤️ . . . #partneryoga #partnerstretch #couplesyoga #getflexy #frontsplits #healthybody #fitstagram #yogavideo #fitnessvideo #onebreathatatime #yogastrong #instayogi #dailypractice #yogilife #gethealthy #workout #beachbody #instafit #beginneryoga #dowhatyoulove #peaceloveyoga #yogalover #vegans #sexyyoga #intimateyoga #crazysexyyoga #whatveganslooklike #friendshipgoals #raiseyourvibration #boyfriend

Liz and I started teaching to encourage grown adults to become vulnerable with each other and allow healing to take place. We grow up with so many rules and many of us put up walls based on what is "right" versus "wrong". What we are demonstrating here is a partner stretch for front splits but the same theory applies. Through safe, consensual touch we help each other through the physical and mental barriers that hold us back. This weekend, we had the privilege of teaching a high level workshop, and our two most advanced students warmed up with partner stretching. While they were acro-partners, they were not romantic partners. We didn't question them or conjure moral opinions, we supported them fully and actually showed them more advantageous ways to use leverage as opposed to muscle. Let's all help each other gravitate towards a space of non-judgement and lift each other. Spread light wherever you go and keep living your truth ❤ . . . . . . . . . #partneryoga #partnerstretch #couplesyoga #getflexy #spinehealth #healthybody #fitstagram #yogavideo #fitnessvideo #onebreathatatime #yogastrong #instayogi #dailypractice #yogilife #gethealthy #workout #beachbody #instafit #beginneryoga #dowhatyoulove #peaceloveyoga #yogalover #vegans #sexyyoga #intimateyoga #crazysexyyoga #whatveganslooklike #friendshipgoals #raiseyourvibration #boyfriend
